Short summary
We developed GenGHG, a globally applicable machine learning model that rapidly links satellite greenhouse gas observations to nearby surface emissions. Its generative design represents stochastic atmospheric transport, helping preserve transport structure close to physical references. It produces emission estimates close to full physical simulations and enables fast comparison of transport differences across weather products.
